Investor Insights
November 2018 | ASX: NTC
Dear fellow shareholders,

Last week’s AGM was well attended and our approach was to have a number of NetComm personnel present various aspects of our business to shareholders. As well as the “traditional” Chairman’s and CEO addresses, we had an address from Mr Ken Boundy, the Chairman of our Remuneration Committee, on the Company’s Remuneration Philosophy. Steve Collins, our CTO, also provided a presentation on the Company’s technology direction including our approach to 5G. These addresses and presentations are available for your review on our website (see links below).

At the AGM we received a "first strike" in respect of our Remuneration Report. This strike comes in our best year ever for revenue and profit, and in a year when executives only received 56% of their maximum short term bonus entitlement and no long term bonus at all. Some of our investors are very disappointed with our current share price but the Board has heard the protest and will double its efforts for shareholders in the year ahead.

Our 5G Fixed Wireless development project is on track and we will be presenting the solution at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona in February 2019. As it is clear that most vendors are mainly interested in the network side of the 5G Fixed Wireless solution, we are confident that we will be presenting a world-first solution that will enable 5G Fixed Wireless at scale.

Additionally, we are gaining traction with our Reverse Powered Gfast DPU. We have successfully completed several lab trials and one field trial. Operators and regulators are coming to the same conclusion as Australia and are looking for alternative ways to bring high speed broadband services as FTTH is taking too long to roll out.

As we are improving our communication strategy both towards the industry/customers and our investors, we see interest in our company increasing. Many global analysts and media want to hear our opinion about next generation technologies and confirm that the time and market for a company like ours, is now. Solutions become more specific and network requirements differ, so operators need a partner like us to get the best solution for their needs. We are confident that investors will follow.

In the past two months we have attended two major industry events. The biggest one being Broadband World Forum, the event where all major Fixed Broadband providers come together and where we have showcased our two newest additions to our portfolio: an extended range of Reverse Powered Gfast DPUs (8- and 16-port) and an indoor 4G LTE Fixed Wireless Residential Gateway. Below you will find a video that summarizes our participation.

Yours sincerely,
Ken Sheridan
CEO and Managing Director
